Stop Smoking Day 21

I've been 21 days without a cig now. That's 3 weeks.This day has been the worse day of the entire quit so far. Up until today. This quit had been pretty easy so far.

Day 14 was the easiest. Now why was day 21 the roughest day so far? I don't know why. I do know this.. The cravings for a cig I've endured today far surpass any cravings I've had up until today. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the worse cravings for a cig. These cravings were a 10+. Worse, far worse than any cravings for a cig so far.

To be honest, if everyday was as bad as this one. I would throw in the towell and light back up. The first week is supposed to be the worse week of any quit. Yeah, Right. Hell week as they call it pales in comparison to today. Not one day during the first 7 days of this quit was even half as bad as today. I think this was some kind of test. The nicotine has been gone from my body for weeks. These cravings for a cig today had to have been psychological.

Theirs no way I'm throwing away this quit. I'll keep this blog updated soon.

Stop Smoking Day 18

18 days without a cigarette. I'm at the point now that I hardly have any cravings for a cig anymore. I still have a few cravings but their minor and are easily dismissed.

Since I've quit 18 days ago. My health has improved dramatically.

  • No more chest pains
  • No more difficulty breathing
  • No more numbness or tingling in left arm,shoulders, or back
  • No more dizziness



I used to have a hard time falling asleep at night when I smoked. I'm falling asleep
about as soon as my head hits the pillow now.LOL. My sleeping is so much better. Everything is so much better without smoking.

I'm having a slight problem with energy. Somedays, I don't have hardly any energy. Some days I have energy. Don't understand it. I guess it's my bodys way of readjusting itself without being a smoker. I know the low energy is a phase that a lot of non smokers go through when they kick the habit.

Is anyone even reading this blog? I'll update again soon.
